La Cura (Part One) by True Cipher / Doza The Drum Dealer

Like Betances found refuge in Santo Domingo and collaborated with their general, and pastor, The Puerto Rican emcee (Doza) linked with True Ciper and came up with La Cura (The Cure). Like Betances cured cholera in the 1800's, Doza and True Cipher embark on a musical journey to cure rap of the wack and weak shit. Doza enlists his comrades Jamil Honesty, Kaeson Skrilla, and D.Goynz to assist with the cure. The production is choc filled with latin ballad-like samples which Doza uses as a canvas to paint his brand of sarcasm, comedy, and introspective pain.
